After 22 years of practicing dermatology in the Westlake Village area, Mia de Leon, N.P. acquired Proderm Image in 2021. It was an honor to assume the practice from Dr. William Schweitzer, who is still involved with the practice as a collaborator. The practice has grown over the last few years offering not only cosmetic procedures but also medical services treating skin diseases.
Meet Mia de Leon, N.P

Mia received her Bachelor of Science Degree as a Registered Nurse at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arizona. After 2 years in family practice, Mia discovered a passion for dermatology and has been practicing as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner in the Westlake area since 2000.
When not at work, you can be sure to find Mia on the tennis courts. She loves to play competitive tennis especially mixed doubles with her husband, David. (USTA members receive a 10% discount!). Together they have 4 children and 2 rescue dogs. Mia also loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends.
