DR. SCHWEITZER'S THREE NO-NONSENSE SKIN CARE TIPS TO WELCOME FALL:
PROTECT YOUR SKIN
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Apply sunscreen generously to exposed areas and reapply every two hours and after perspiring. Don't forget your beautiful pout, protect your lips with a balm that contains SPF.
DON’T OVER EXFOLIATE
Over manipulating the skin is a big NO! Regular, excessive exfoliation using chemicals or mechanical methods can lead to damage on your skin. If your method is to exfoliate to the point that your skin turns red and flaky, STOP! Be gentle to your skin and treat it with care.
KEEP YOUR SKIN MOIST
The moisture in your skin can be preserved by avoiding the use of harsh soaps that can strip away natural oils. Use instead a mild, non-abrasive, alcohol free cleanser. Minimize your exposure to moisture depleting elements such as the sun, harsh winds, low humidity, alcohol, and prolonged baths.
